Personal Thoughts by Mark Lester

Library Week, ha, don't remind me,
How beautiful it was,
Crime has never looked so good,
It deserved applause.

Blame it on the librarians,
Reading rooms transformed,
Games, fame and shame,

Oh, how students came.

Violence was so popular,

Students cashed in,
As they learnt and gasped,
At the gruesome truth of sin.

The triple murder,
Of Justice, Pants and Smith,
A story so solid,
It was an instant hit.

Alas, perfection eluded us,

We had flaws too,

It's just human error,
No chance to redo.

Debt systems and H1N1,

Problems weighed a ton,

Games too easy to win,

Give us a break, man.

But put yourselves on the back,

We fixed and didn't slack,

Now, can we fix that hole in the roof,

It's ugly like hell.

Praise must be given,
So I must say this,

Or regret it in the future,

Here's my goodbye kiss.

Form 5s',

This was you finale,

You guys did well,

I'll miss you like hell.

And for your future,

Remember lessons learnt,

From trials and tribulations,

Never should they be burnt.

That's all I have,

A humble poem from mud,

Hope you guys liked it,

Au revoir.
